Hsu Yun-Chin, Dorry is an artist who lives and works in London. Dorry's work is rooted in her fascination with the process of creation and her desire to explore the intersection of various art forms. Her background in metalwork, sculpture and photography serves as a foundation for her experimentation with different mediums and techniques.

Dorry strives to convey a narrative that is both personal and symbolic, drawing inspiration from sources such as human figures, religion, culture, and philosophy. Dorry's art-making process is focused on creating encounters between different realms that have the potential to change our understanding of what is yet to come. She sees art as a future enterprise, one that has the power to transform our fears into visual forms that can reinterpret the original narrative into a more open and inclusive mode of connection. Dorry is inspired in exploring the complexities of contemporary life and her work is an attempt to mediate this experience through visual form. The pieces she creates are often abstract, but they are also thought-provoking and evocative.

Hsu Yun-Chin, Dorry holds a BA in Fine Art Photography from Emily Carr Art and Design University in Canada, as well as an MA in Goldsmith, Silversmith, Metalwork and Jewellery from the Royal College of Art in London, which have both provided her with a strong foundation of technical skill and theoretical knowledge. She has also been honoured to be elected as a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Dorry believes that art has the power to inspire, provoke and make a change in our society and hopes that her work can make a small difference.
